UniTrak™ Bucket Elevators
Horizontal and Vertical Conveying With the TipTrak™ bucket elevator
We are proud to offer UniTrak™ bucket elevators, who for nearly 50 years has led the industry with their TipTrak™ bucket elevator. The TipTrak™ bucket conveyor provides the gentlest handling, least spillage, lowest maintenance, and quietest operation of any bucket conveyor system on the market. Our TipTrak™ bucket elevators are capable of running both horizontally and vertically (or at any angle in between) from a single drive. The plastic buckets are truly interlocking and never separate. What separates UniTrak™ Conveyors from their competitors is the patented TipTrak™ chain. This is elastomer molded around and bonded to a core of multiple strands of stainless steel aircraft cable. Similar to a timing belt in design, it has positive drive. With the stainless steel cable core (which is pre-stressed at the time of molding to eliminate elongation), the TipTrak drive belt combines all the advantages of a chain (strength and positive drive) with the benefits of a belt (no moving parts, corrosion resistance and long life). This special engineering design eliminates the need for sprockets with the exception at the drive end. At all other points the chain runs in a flanged pulley, much like a V-belt in a sheave.
Features and Advantages
ADVANTAGES OF THE TIPTRAK™ BUCKET ELEVATOR
NO TRANSFER POINTS
The TipTrak bucket elevator moves your products from one process to another without spillage, degradation, dusting or segregation of blended products.
The interlocking buckets ensure that there is no spillage. The only place your product leaves the buckets is at the discharge point of the bucket elevator.
NO MOVING PARTS
Unlike roller chains, there are no moving parts in the rubber beltchain of the TipTrak™ bucket elevator to stretch or wear out. After the initial setup, the chain never needs tensioning or adjusting.
NON-METALLIC BUCKET ASSEMBLY
The TipTrak™ bucket elevator is ideal for situations requiring sanitary or corrosion-resistant materials of construction because of food-grade plastic bucket and rubber “beltchain.” These features result in a very quiet operation – less than 60 dB.
